Why a loose-fit rash guard swim shirt you ask? The answer is simple––
better sizing
. In our research, we've found one consistent complaint about rash guard sizing–– the shirts are too small. So our approach at Aquawear is to design a form fitting tee that can also be worn as a traditional surfer's rashie by selecting one size smaller. If the goal is to protect skin from harmful UV while in the outdoors or swimming, you should select the same size as you would a form fitting tee. If using as a snug fitting surfers rashguard, select one size smaller.
